Haustod is the virtual detonation of the town hall of Gießen as culmination of the municipal 800 year anniversary celebration. The building was modelled in 3D in the computer to be congruently projected onto the real facade.
Several variations of blastings with diverse explosives seen from different points of view were presented to the collective memory of the numerously watching citizens of Gießen.
In fact, the city wanted to get rid of the old building.
